ill look into that! Key seems secure and key is solo. Gonna check to see if any threads on pet cock removal...TY!one more thing I did as Mr Wright said was spray some contact cleaner in the key barrel just for good measure I did notice a lot of black cleaner draining out something to remember I was told not to have heavy key rings and shit hanging out of your ignition they don't like it let me know how you go
What he said, Check to make sure its venting properly. Happened to me quite a few times before I figured it outGas cap vent!
06 k9......my ehc died got another oem board from a friend, first time this ever happenedThis is a very common issue with many solutions. What year do you have? Does it have the original EHC? It can be any of the above. For me, I think it is the key switch which grounds out the EHC to turn it on. But it is sensitive. I put Wire Plus in mine and it solved most of the shutdowns (i.e. less sensitive) but I still have the original key switch! My issues with the original EHC started with occasional shutdowns to getting worse. In the beginning, it would always restart by cycling the key switch. Finally, it didn't want to respond and I put WP in.
