Since I joined this site I have met a lot of great people and learned a lot
about my bike. I have had a great time. I can name a couple dozen people I would have never met and be able to call a friend if it wasnt for Big Dog Biker.
But my joke offended a few people. I appologized and appologized but it just wasnt good enough. And now I have heard I am being bashed on another site even by someone I thought wouldnt do so.
So its time for me to move on. I cant change my sense of humor and really
dont want to.
The person I played a joke on called Biker Babe a lot of bad things and said
sexual things about her in a hurtfull manner. Nobody saw that since a Moderator removed it almost as fast as it went up "as he should"

Either way, Love you guys and I wish nothing but good to all here.
I have nothing bad to say about Big Dog Biker. It is a great forum.

I have a very thick skin and it is very difficult to offend me. I also hate to see anyone leave this site because of conflicts over a joke (I missed the joke that caused the problem since I have been hunting like a mad man for the past 2 months). Sorry to see you leave brother.

The ride does not have to be "over".
With almost eleven thousand members, not all will agree with everything.
Bashing from members on other sites has been going on for years and we all know that, haters are haters, cant please everyone.
You are good people and we only hope the best for you and yours. :flag:

Hate to see you leave Al. You apologized for offending him and he just wouldn't let it go. You should know better than anyone in your line of work that you can't please everyone no matter what you do. Your a class act in my opinion and have one of the best looking Ridgebacks I've ever seen. Hate to loose you as a member of the forum because you know a lot about these bikes and you have contributed a lot to the forum. From working on these bikes to organizing rides for bigdog biker members. In a couple of days no one will even remember what happened. And as what usually happens in a few months or a year the people that cause the most problems on the site sell there bigdog and move on to something else. I've seen them come and go over the years. I sure hate loosing the good ones. Take a break, play with that beautiful daughter,stay warm and come back anytime.

Al, please don't go!!! Sweet Baby Jesus, I wish you spoofed my photo instead! I have a sense of humor...and I guess bigger balls than a lot of men! You are truly one of my most favorite people on the planet (the short list version!).

As a wildlife rehabber, I'm a member of a group of licensed rehabbers who network together. Out of my love of wildlife, grew precious friendships with other rehabbers...except one. A very broken person, who my friend's therapist husband diagnosed as narcissistic. She's very jealous of me because I'm a go getter and she has basically been a tearing the group apart with negativity. A toxic person, if you will. One day my friend said, "we should just fold the group". I said, "why? Everything is good about it except for one bad seed....if we do, she wins!"

Now before I get in trouble and people think I'm referring to this situation here as dealing with a bad seed and a narcissist. I am not. I'm simply saying...don't let negative win!

I've already been told that I'm taking sides because I know you personally. No, I am not. Everyone is welcome in my house as long as you respect everyone. Once, you start tantrums, bashing, threats...you are no longer are welcome.

Please, please, please don't let negative win. Al is a wonderful person. He apologized up and down that he had no ill intent. He didn't stoop to attacks. What more can you do?

Al, I love you to pieces and I don't want to be crying over the Thanksgiving Holiday. Please don't go. Plus, we need to see the new mods!

Now, I need to go find something for anxiety! Sheesh!

On another note you should just let it go, you owe no apologies..... and people who get their feeling hurt on a web-based forum, well they need to take that shit to Dr. Phil, get their Prozac prescriptions filled, have a group hug, or do whatever other stupid shit that those responsible for the PUSSIFICATION of our country do. This is a motorcycle enthusiast forum. Technical info, parts supply source, humor, information sharing, and of course naked pictures of Raywood :loony: Like a few others on the site the temperamental drama fucktards have been keeping me away as well. :bang:

We'll , I hate to see Al go this fast and I must admit I've been struggling with it all day. It won't be the same on big dog biker without you brother.
I find it very hard to believe that if the members in the south knew the truth of vikings vile and vulgar assault toward Kathy that they would condone his activities and support his threats against members as well .
It's a sad day to lose a fine and upstanding man such as Al ,aka Splitlog,
because of trash like this.

Splitlog, I don't even know ya, but Biker Babe's right, this shit has gone far enough. I was having some problems with an individual on this site and I let it go, you can too. C'mon back. This site is too valuable to splinter to pieces over this shit. ALL members are important pieces to this site, and one fewer simply makes it weaker.
