I just got the bdm velocity stack with filter for my bike and was wandering if anyone that is running one of these could help me out with jetting numbers

That would be great. I hope this thing is going to be worth the hassle. I just thought I would try something different

Hey Donk - Welcome. Take a minute and introduce yourself and welcome to a great site.

Do you have a pic of the velocity stack?

Sorry for not posting anything but I love the site and I view very often. You guys post so much helpful information that I generally never have to post. My name is Jason and I'm from Mitchell SD. I ride a 06 Mastiff

Well maybe you dont need other jets ride the bike first and see how he doing, I put one on my bike and it ride great without change any jets.
But this site helps you out , you already know that after three years:2thumbs:

Yea I tried riding it and it runs poorly with the filter on. Without filter runs great.

i'm sure you know, but here is a reminder. without the filter, it is a straight path for dirt to get into the jugs and there go the rings and cylinders.

I just ran it around the block without the filter and it ran great and you put filter on and it bogs out

There are several folks running them, havent heard anything negative about them. What jets are you running now?

29.5/78 it has a bad bog at 3500 rpms. It also has l.a.f drag pipes on. I got it at a shop on the Dyno now but they don't work on to many motors like these I don't think

Filter is probably restricting flow enough to starve engine at higher rpm. Couldn't run one on my mastiff either

My bad. I thought you were referring to a fuel filter and a velocity stack, not a velocity stack with a filter.
