HID is a huge difference. That is a great upgrade since the stock lights are horrible. May have to hit you up one of these days as well.:2thumbs:

Another round please
Put mine in last night. What a huge difference. This is a must for everyone. Will be good for daytime also, anything that may make a cager see you. Put it on your list guys, it should be a requirement. Very easy install. Hats of to Low Down Chop Shop.

I hooked it up and it is very bright - however, and I have pm'd Jake on this too, the bulb will only fit upside down - at least I think it is upside down - presumably the deflector strip should be on top and the "H4" stamped on the bulb itself should be the right way up? the bulb will only fit one way because of the 3 tabs - any suggestions would be much appreciated

Lee, the deflector on the bottom is correct and the only way!!

have been asked about the deflector being on the bottom of the bulb after installed and if this is correct.

Yes it is. Light coming off the bottom of the bulb and reflecting off the bottom of the lens is reflected "up" and light coming off the top of the bulb and reflecting off the top of the lens goes down directly to the road.

So... the deflector on the bottom of the lens stops stray high beams from going into eyes of oncoming traffic. If you don't like it, it can be taken off, but not re-installed.

Pro started this thread to tell about his install, but I have a larger thread about the HID kit itself with feedback and some tips on it. Go check that if your questions don't get answered looking here.
Thanks,
Jake

Here is my experience with high beam flashing. Some time ago, I bought a Skull Headlight from Headwinds and the high beam (both eyes on the Skull) each came with a 55 Watt bulb, which was an over kill of 110 watts not supported by the EHC. The low beam bulb was 55 watt so it worked OK. Tuned on the high beam and it was like having a strobe light. I also noticed that with the two 55 watt bulbs working at the same time (high beam on) I could see a red light flashing in the EHC. I changed the two eye bulbs to 35 Watt and that worked. I checked with the local shop tech and he said I was going to fry the wiring. SO I took the skull off and got me the Warlock head light and added the Blue Xenon 55/60 bulb and everything is working good again. Now I have a 450 dollar chrome skull head trophy on my work bench.
