This is a crankcase oil line breather housing that is missing the screw on filter looks like? This will pepper the bike with oil. The filter at least corrals it somewhat.

Well talked to S&S, and showed them pics, its a Big Dog specific part. (not that you cant make something else work) but the little tap/filter mouted is.

Would like the stock part if someone has them?

It does not look a BDM original.... you can install just another new filter on it.

Someone correct me if I am wrong.

you think that will work with the bracket? Maybe someone can tell me how it attaches so I know if i need a whole new kits or just the Jp one.

Only think I can think is, the bracket is one peace and the filter and tube slide in and the hose and clam on the back keep it on the bracket. and Mine the filter and top broke off the base, so what I am seeing is the base in the bracket, with the hoes holding it on still. If this is the case a JP wold work. But if i buy the kit, I get all new and a nice crome cap. ha

That looks like it :2thumbs: not much of a price difference. I would buy the one you found. You could always make it fit.

Thanks guys, ordered the kit from amazon prime, free shipping 17 bucks for whole new one.

I was not there to chase lines and figure it out, I have known it was missing but was waiting around until i got home, then saw that first pic in another thread and was like SHIT... i am going to ask now that I have a before and after pic.
