I believe Curtis has EHC's for sale. Might want to give him a call.
Now is a good time to check all the rest of your wiring for shorts to ground and corrosion at connectors. Pull your fuel tank and make sure all wires running along backbone of frame are still in good shape, not rubbing on the fuel tank, causing a short. I would also take all connectors apart, one at a time and put a little dielectric grease into them. At battery make sure all wires have good crimps at the wire ends. And clean the 2 plugs going into the EHC and put some Dielectric grease in them as well.
Do you need a Maxi fuse for the charging system?
