I was reading forum upon forum of people that are happy with Bob at triple X carbs, happy with the product and also happy with the service. Well i ended up sending bob my ccarburetor about a month ago. Everything was going just great, we had discussed many ddifferent options and he was very helpful. Well about 3 weeks later he gives me a call and ssays the carb is done and Its time to pay for the services. I gave him my credit card number and I thought I would be happy from there on out. Well i check my account two days later and he double charged me for the carb. I give him a call and he says he typed a number wrong for my area code and it has happened before, insures me that it won't process and I won't be charged twice. Well three days later I get charged almost 900 dollars for my carb job. I call bob and he says this has never happened since he has owned xxx carbs. He eventually puts the money back in my account. Well i get my carb a few days later and I was installing roller rockers at the time so I was oblivious to the fact that my thunderjet is the wrong color. Well i figured they made a mistake and messed up the jet color, no big deal. An hour later bob calls and says he sent me the wrong carb, mine is in new jersey and i need to ship it to this guy ASAP. Well now I'm pissed, the guy with my carb calls me and tells me I'm way behind on a bike build and i need it shipped next day air. Next morning I ship the carb next day air, came out of pocket 115 dollars to send it. Big mistake, I call bob and he blows a gasket but agrees to reimbursement me the full amount. Then he sends me an email stating that we screwed him over big time on this deal and only part of it was his fault. I tried to bite my tongue but I sent him an email reminding him of everything that has gone wrong so far which was just about everything. He sends me a check two weeks later, the check bounces and gets returned to me, giving me another fee with Wells Fargo. Still haven't heard back from him. This was by far the worst experience I've ever had and feel I need to tell my story. As many good things as I've heard about him and his company, I would be cautious.
