Are the front wheel hubs different sizes from year to year? Cant catch a break with this repair of the front end of my scoot. Basically,
I installed new lowers that I got and that all went perfect, New lowers and axle. mounted my wheel and wheel spacers (Spacers from my 2003) only to find out that my brake caliper wouldn't work since the newer forks have a direct bolt on style, I picked up a new direct bolt PM Caliper to the tune of $ 450.00 and go to install it and it won't fit. Line the caliper up on the rotor and I'm a good 3/8 from being able to slide the caliper behind the fork mounting bracket. My wheel is dead center between the forks..
Any suggestions, Maybe a longer axle spacer on the brake side?? All this bs because of 2 sheared brake Caliper mount bolts in my old forks.
