Hi guys,
it´s the new member here from Sweden. I´ve been reading this thread and I would like to add my thoughts to this matter. I hope that´s ok with you all.
First of all I want to say that when someone is very good at something you should of course get the respect that you deserve because you have put so many hours, days, months and years to it and that is just the reason why get to be that good on what you do.
Andrew you have all of my respect for that.
Unfortunately there is one thing I have learned over here in Sweden, but I think it´s the same everywhere.
Some people get kicks in different ways so no matter how good you are at what you do there is always someone out there who is never satisfied and is going to get negative on you in some way.
So I think that you can´t please everyone and you can´t get everyones respect no matter how hard you try.
But if 99% of the people you deal with in your life are happy and pleased then don´t get that 1% destroy the happiness that all the other 99% give.
I really hope I haven´t offended anyone here and I know I´m a new member and like the swedish cook my english is not the best.
I like this forum and I wanna continue reading all your threads out here, so let´s keep a good and positive attitude between one another.
Rock in peace

Best to have all the input about bikes since this is a bike site. I recall the start of this site. A common reply was "get a manual". That way we could cut down on the questions of how to start? How much air? How to check oil? Etc... I kind of compare that to Sven, he gives you enough info to make you think how, why and when. The way he expresses makes a tough topic even tougher. Like a riddlers crossword puzzle but he did speak very clearly a couple pages back so we know he has it in him. I did like the Otto reference. Quench grooves to cut down preignition???

I say get all the info

Andrew, the info you have provided is very well appreciated by many as are your post. As far as SVEN goes, I have read many of his post and they are pretty funny, but in some aspect when one cuts through the language or BS, he does have some valid information.

That said, there is many people on here that have provide excellent information to fellow members and some that may even be the least knowledgeable in regards to technical abilities or mechanical ability, have provided the idea that the job done.

So I encourage all to continue to provide information regardless if it may be non nonsensical or not, for there maybe something there to help a brother out.

At the same time, we all need to learn to ignore those that get under or skin, while at the same time try best to respect other.

There is many post on here that have got my goat some times, and I am sure that some of mine have gotten other people goat, nonetheless, since most are over the internet and not a true face to face conversation, best to let it be and not get too upset and possible misinterpreted things. Hell many times when you actual meet someone that may have got the ones goat and had a face to face, things change big time and actually many time people come good buds.

Oh by the way, BBChopper has never called me an ass (or at least that I know) and he does drink Kentucky liquor, so hard to be upset with him, but looking from a far I do think he has been mean to Skidmark, I mean Asshat would have been accurate, but meatsack, crossing the line. :D

 8 ? wowwww I thought SVEN was the only one who was getting on people´s nerves!
SVEN and a few others that have shown on this thread lack of respect I guess you could say.
Like I said before, I'm on here to help, just like many others. Non of us are paid to help others..it's all voluntarily given out. If someone doesn't appreciate my concerns and what I have to say, then I refuse to help them.
Love me or hate me, I am who I am, and can not change that
