Cheaper Alternative to the Scavenger Oil Change System

Shit, I just clicked on the link, and J&P isn't selling it anymore.:bang: Was going to by the expensive metal one the other day, glad I didn't. Will have to check their catalog to see if I can find it.
Wild Steed Worx will be carrying them if our Vendor ever gets them in stock again.

I decided to cut down an old filter.
Just cut through about an inch up from the flange, remove the filter shit, TIG weld a plate that has a small pipe at one edge and attach a hose (hose needs to be positioned at the bottom once screwed on).
Very basic and pimative, but it works. Took me 20 min to make and no mess at all.
A very small amount of old oil may make it back into the system once you see the new oil, but with old oil still sitting in your sump, pump, motor and hoses this small amount aint gonna bother anyone.
Have any pics?

I just bought and used the scavenger yesterday. GREAT device. Very nice machined aluminum. If the cors does the exact same thing then I suppose either will work.

One quick note about either the CORS or the Scavenger: Not sure about you guys, but in order to get the oil filger off of my 09 K9 I have to remove the oil pressure sensor (think thats what it is) in the front of the engine. I was so excited to try the scavenger I put it on, and didn't put the oil pressure sensor back in the bike. Needless to say I blew fine oil mist EVERYWHERE when I tried to start it.

I guess I was going to clean it anyways....right?

Hummmmmmmmmmm..... I think you are talking about the Electrical wires from the Stator... and it should not come out oil from there! The oil pressure sensor is located behind the rear cylinder, right side!

I believe if you have to use the electrical wires for the stator you have the wrong filter.

I believe the TC filter is a bit longer which causes that problem. The correct EVO filter you shouldn't have to unplug the harness.
