Haven't gotten the Dog in yet. These are just the pics the dealer sent me. It's paid for and now just waiting on the freight company to deliver. I'm very nervous about my bike being in a trailer but the bike is in Virgina and I'm in Kansas....that's a long ride....Ship it!!!!!!!
The Glide is Bad Fast. There isn't a bagger around here that will pull the front wheel in 2nd.....I love it and the wife too

Hell yeah!!! I'm actually on another form for my Glide and I feel a hell of a lot more at home here. I'm proud to own a Harley Davidson but I'm very proud to own "America's #1 chopper" as it was built in Kansas as I was and I also reside. I'm proud of that...Damn proud:flag:
Best of both worlds, I'm very fortunate and I appreciate that as well.....

To the whole "Dog Pound"...I am really having issues with the exhaust on my K9 (see pics above). To all that have this exhaust system, NO OFFENSE!!!!! but I really don't like it that much. What are my options? I'd like a shorter maybe more curved exhaust. I've thought about just cutting this exhaust down so it shorter. Can this be done? I'd like to see the right side of the bike more opened up'd if that makes sense.....

A lot, and I mean a lot (myself included) run the Vance & Hines Big Radius exhaust, either 2 into 2 or two into one. They perform well and most cut the baffles or remove them all together to get them to sound the way they want. I'm really liking those Frankie Serrano exhausts though - super cool!

I have ridden both bikes and would have to say the original K9 is the better choice in my opinion overall. The k9-250 was a less expensive bike but is basically a 04 chopper with right side drive and Harley style hand controls, it is a little left heavy compared to the K9 which is perfectly balanced and more solid feeling on the highway. Hope this helps!

I was just wondering if there are any more recent opinions in the differences between the K-9 and K-9 250. I've gone over the differences and they're basically 2 completely different bikes, all the way down to the wheels, engine, and drive train, that look similar. I kinda like the smaller 250 tire, however, a lot of the custom pieces of the K-9 are lost with the 250. Any thoughts from the experienced BDM community?
