crank case breather leaking steady stream of oil

It has sat for a week or two, however the amount of oil coming out is a steady stream not drips. No crimps in line

Sounds like the check ball in the oil pump is leaking by. Pull it and clean it and see if that stops the leakage. The S&S manual has the description on this.

You may also want to check or replace the Check Valve on the hose coming from the rear head to the air cleaner. The white side should face the rear head. Clean it or replace it :2thumbs:

Not sure what year Pitbull he has but if its 04 and earlier he has a different breather setup.

Snakes, what year bike do you have?

Since you have the older set-up, this should be your first step.

What kind of air filter setup do you have on your bike? The Pre-04's top end breaths through the air cleaner bolts and then there is a bottom end breather as well.

On a complete stock setup the bottom end runs up to the S&S backplate and breaths through the air cleaner. Most guys with aftermarket filters route the bottom end breather to the floor.

Did you recently change your air cleaner setup?
