Glad your doing better...things can be replaced...I know we dont view our bike as a thing...more as rolling art but it can be replaced....broken ribs stink...I am 4 weeks into my 3 cracked ribs healing from bouncing a 340lbs bar off of them at the gym....

Five-Five, I just passed your story, with pictures on to family and friends with message to do the same with their contact list. Graphic reminder to watch for motorcycles. Hope everyone on the forum does the same. Might stop one more cager from running over someone. Good Luck on a speedy recovery.

Okay ....Survey. nope didn't have the the bell on my bike and I missed the blessing of the bikes, where the priest prays over your bike and blesses it with holy water.

I was also rearended while waiting at a stoplight May 30, 2010. Knocked my lights out. It took over a year before I could bend my head back without pain. Now there's just a clanking. Left bicep tendon had to be reattached to my shoulder. Nerves in lower back are getting worse. The guy who hit me didn't even get a ticket. His insurance covered less than half of my medical expenses. My lawyer got the rest from my insurance company.
I just happened across this website while looking for repair parts for my 03 Chopper. Had it since new in late 02 and this was the first accident. Been hit 3 other times on other bikes. So Calif is no place to ride. Fixed the scoot but haven't ridden much since.
Good luck! Please do not talk to her insurance company without your lawyer. They will find a way out. That's what they do. Nobody gives a damn about right or wrong anymore. Pain and Suffering are not recognized, they are only a figment of your imagination. It's all about the $$$.
