MAN.....You are so lucky to have gotten out of that one. In my 16 years with the FD I have seen some bad ones. If I just saw the pics, I would have guessed that you didn't make it. I hope you recover quickly!! Time to start looking for another dog.

Glad your not seriously injured. Getting rear ended is a helpless situation. Especially, if you dont see it coming. Sorry about the bike too!

Holy crap Five, you are lucky to be alive! I have been hit twice in similar accidents, and I can tell you from first hand experience that you are going to have problems for the rest of your life with your joints and muscles that the initial trauma brings on. Make sure that you get a fair shake in the settlement for future medical expenses that you may have down the road. Heal fast and God's speed.

You need to call a lawyer before the insurance companies start calling you for a statement. Don't give them a statement until you call a lawyer.

Ditto on those!!! You never think you may need a lawyer but in all instances it will be better in the long run.

Glad You Survived ! its a miracle from the looks of the bike. Just hope the idiot has insurance and a drivers licence unlike the kid that ran over me two years ago. Did not get arrested paid nothing got off scott free!
