I changed the oil for the first time in my Bulldog last night. Drained the tank, then took great care to not make a mess when I took the filter off. NOT! Oil went everywhere even though I thought I had enough rags to soak it up under the filter. Anyway..during the clean up process I took the filter mount off the engine to relocate some wires and I thought , why didn't I do this before I took the filter off? With the filter mount off I can swing the filter clear of the engine, it only has two capscrews that holds it on. On my bike there is plenty of slack in the oil lines to do this. It would be much faster to do it this way and save the clean up time. And yes I did put on a K&P and used the oil scavenger. Maybe I'm missing something here.......
On my Bulldog the front pipe is routed differently than most. That looks like the rear of your oil tank (located Underneath the bike) correct...?Is this my engine drain plug on my 05 ridgeback? I keep reading that its a hose with a plug...a little confused
