I am attaching a excel spreadsheet to this thread that will tell you what the temp gauge should read in ohms at each temperature. All you have to do is read the 2 wires. The temperature column is in Celsius so you have to convert it to Fahrenheit. I use a program called convert which is a free download.
At 85 degrees you should read 3027.81 ohm to verify your sensor. That would be 29.16 celsius.
Whatever ohm you read find it on the sheet, just look at the next column for the temperature and convert it to see what you have.
