My dealer warned me that a lot of the 06 and older bikes that are cheaper than they should be may be from the floods from the hurricane. Check that out when buying.

Look up and under it all and there will be rust. Look around bolts for rust. Another way is to do a title search on the title. It may show it. Some of those titles get cleaned or washed, but they should show if the bike was totaled. I bought a car once that had been in the bottom of a lake. It was a 2 year old Supra and the overhead cams went out. I started looking all over it and found rust everywhere. I did a title search and found out the title had been washed by dealers and rebuilders. What would you look for on a bike that may have been a flood bike?
We could ride up and check it out from Daytona!!!For that price it would be worth it to fly in and ride er home.
