:bang:Well I was enjoying the look and sound of my new Karata belt drive when I noticed some aluminum shavings comming out of the rear. I pulled it all back off only to find out the the input shaft bearing has gone bad and I had excessive play on the shaft. First I want to say this was not caused by the belt drive as I have heard some noise in the trans prior to installing it and did a fluid change hopping it would improve and quiet down...It did not.
So I got the trans off and now I need to replace the input shaft bearing.
The gears etc all look to be fine. Any idea on where to get the bearings and seals??? Part numbers would be great.
BTW didn't someone on here rebuild these things??? I want to ride again!:choppersmiley:
