Treat your AIH like an inexpensive one-off custom.........I rode with a guy out of Ft Worth on a $60K WCC......he didn't get any support, nothing standard, and we spent allot of time on the side of the road over stupid shit on his bike. If you compare that..... than AIH is a bargain. I'm happy with the BD, but if I had purchased a AIH I would be prepared to do a little maintenance, maybe a few mods, change out the problem components. When BD was having EHC issues a shop in SC suggested I bypass the unit.....re-wire and do without rather than replace it.
I would buy a Horse under the conditions I was on my own "as is". I think they are very cool looking bikes, great paint schemes. So what if you have to swap out a speedo or some wiring......big deal. At the bargain/clearances prices you can't go wrong. I do feel sorry for those who bought their bike expecting the company would be there for ever and paid top dollar, but live with it. I thought when I invested my life savings in Enron it would be safe.....shit happens. Ride it like you stole it

and hope the wheels don't fall off.
