After 6 months of chasing down why my scoot dies while riding, I changed out the cam sensor. Put on bout 150 miles over 3 days and bike hasn't died again. And it's been 107 in OKC. The newest issue is now I am getting a small amount of black smoke from both pipes. I see this when i rev the engine. Notice more than normal black residue inside the pipes. When I put the cam sensor in I put the new one in as close as possible in the same position. Bike runs perfect. No backfiring, sneezing or anything.
Leave it alone or should I adjust the timing alittle. If so which way should I turn the sensor to slightly adjust timing. Thanks again folks. Y'all rock.
