2XGroup buy?
I can believe that you don't gap these plugs the same way that you would a standard plug but the distance between electrodes is still important unless they've figured out a way around the natural behavior of electricity in this universe...... you don't gap these to .040 , with the technology e3 has designed the gap is obsolete.
I agree. 16 bucks or 4 bucks for new plugs. I know in the biker world, guys spend stupid money just to have it if it may do something better, not for sure it does someting better. My Champions have worked perfect so far.Is there any independent proof on a dyno that these make any more power than a $1.49 Champion plug?

Is there any independent proof on a dyno that these make any more power than a $1.49 Champion plug?![]()
Dyno testing with cars, trucks..what not with V8's have been proven to increase power and MPG. Not sure about the V-Twin. For $16 I would be willing to test on a Dyno if I was having Dyno work done anyhow. SPend a few hundred or thousand on your motor, whats another $16...
I agree 100%. Has to have a gap, just not adjustable. Just like most any platinum, iridium plug, requires no gap adjustment.I can believe that you don't gap these plugs the same way that you would a standard plug but the distance between electrodes is still important unless they've figured out a way around the natural behavior of electricity in this universe...

Those of us that had e carbs run fine but we elect to replace it with a GI agree. 16 bucks or 4 bucks for new plugs. I know in the biker world, guys spend stupid money just to have it if it may do something better, not for sure it does someting better. My Champions have worked perfect so far.![]()

These are all measurable differences. All I asked is if the same can be said for those new and improved spark plugs...Those of us that had e carbs run fine but we elect to replace it with a G
The 117 runs fine with .546 cam but we elect to go .585 , .600 and bigger
The 117 runs fine with stock compression but we elect to deck the jugs
I think you can measure this one too... by the size of the smile! :2thumbs:A sportster will get you from point A to point B but we elect to turn heads with our BDM.
:2thumbs:I think you can use a marlboro instead of a champion and see a measurable difference.
