Let's not forget the dreaded running out of gas,then go to turn it to reserve only to find it's on reserve because dumb ass forgot to turn back the petcock last fill up!!! I didn't get the nickname gas weasel for nuttin!:D:cheers:

how about THINKING you checked everything:bang: trailering the SOB 30 miles:bang: and being told by a BD "professional" to put gas in it, it runs better that way:bang: YUP I did it:job::job::job:

I forgot to turn the gas back on after a refuel, and I was going past a bike night crowd at the local greasy spooon. I revved hard because the crowd was looking the V&H pipes rumbled, growled, and THEN my scoot coughed and sputtered. I had just enough time to flip the switch and roll out before I heard them laugh... LOL

Leaving Strokers one day following my buddies. Tried to make a left turn out of the parking lot and bike wouldnt turn, kickstand was down, ssscrrraaaaape... Arrrghh! Luckily I hit the brakes before I hit the fence. Of course this was in front of a packed saloon. Strokers now has a permanent scar on their lot... Hence my name "KickStand"

been on carb bikes forever and still forget every now and then. My new HD is E.F.I. and its cool. Good luck

wow, i have done all the above except the disklock (only cause I dont have one). Only one of my stories...i get the front tire changed out get the dyna beads installed and go for a 400 mile ride and the ride is going great, loving the beads. On my way home I get a radical vibration and just happen to look at the front wheel and notice the outter seal/bearing slide all the way over to the right. Yep when they replace the tire they didnt look at the wheelbearing anyway i get about 90 miles away from home and everything was going great again. well for some reason she started running real odd and missing like a mofo. So, the wife and i pull over at a micky "d's call my daughter and have her hook up the trailer and come get us...I had enough for this trip. So, as we are sitting there i just happen to feel the spark plug wire..yup was loose and by this time my daughter shows up with the trailer. oh btw she is 16...lol needless to say I let my daughter jump on and she got to ride home while the wife drove the trailer home.
