I thought of an idea for polishing aluminum in those hard to reach places and ended up ordering some cotton gloves on lines.
- 100% cotton and they did as good a job as any other rag
- I liked the fact that you could use your sense of touch to make sure the material was actually touching the medal
- Was nice for getting in those in tight spots like around the foot pegs
- Cheap! $6 a dozen (25 cents a glove); I bought 2 dozen w/ shipping $17
- I use one side of the glove and then flip it
- Only thing is they say they are large and they fit me perfect, but I would say my hands aren't very large. The knitting does seem to stretch pretty good though. I am sure there are other manufacturers out there also.
Here's some pix and a link.
