Raywood & I did a ride last summer (RE: 100 years of motorcycling)of 400+ mileson first day and half those were in excess of 90 mph,
some around 115 with full camping gear. Just gotta get in yer "bubble". No windsheild. Them grasshoppers feel like a bridge hit ya at those speeds and make a mess like a semi hitting a deer. Cleanup at the next fuel stop about every 125 miles, or about an hour & 10 minutes. After we got to the event, set up camp, walked into town till about 2am and we were never sore, nor tired.
48 hours - 950 miles, the last 5 hours or so in HEAVY rain, still pushing 80-85 mph. No Windsheild.
