I ordered a seat from him on 5/5/10. On 5/19 I filed a dispute with paypal. He never answered phone calls or e-mail. One day after dispute was filed he replied to paypal saying his phone number changed and he could not get some parts anymore. If you know you can't get parts anymore, why take money. Anyway I got my money back and got a custom seat for $160..moved me forward 3 inches instead of the 2 with push seat.

I stopped by to check on Nelson last weekend. He's been busy with the bar/shop and says he's working to fill the orders when he can. He told me the problem is with BDM and scaling back their parts manufacturing which makes for long lead times. He told me he's let people know about this but it sounds like a different story from some of our members here.
I've stressed concerns with his advertising here, being the exclusive BDM parts guy, and the complaints being posted here.
I've been to the bar and it's coming along but he's got a lot on his plate. Not to make excuses for anyone so, if you feel you are not getting the service you deserve, you need to look at other avenues. As my agreement with Nelson stands, we cannot endorse any other retailers as to BDM original parts, and BikersDream is here as an advertiser for BDM motorcycle sales only....
Fairless/Strokers Dallas is not authorized to advertise on Big Dog Biker nor is any other dealership.

Well then i guess this is a reflection on this site and not nelson then.....thats pretty sad when you constantly make excuses and promote someone year after year,month after month day after day,knowing damn well this has been goin on since the beginning .....these new guys come on here not knowing how undependable the sales and service are,and try to purchase stuff,not knowing about past problems and dont get what they are tryin to get...its like a vicious circle thats been goin on for years and you guys just continue to let it happen....after the responses i got from the politics issues the other week and now to read this i surely feel this site is gettin to be just like our wonderful government........one sided.....

I have to agree......you keep your end of the bargin by alowing him to remain as the BDM parts sponsor yet he is not keeping his end of the bargin with a lot of our members by not replying to several emails and its seems to have been going on for awhile now...doesn't seem all that ok to me. I have read a lot of the complaints about WB but to those new members that we get here on a daily basis, whos to say they dont click the banner and order not knowing the history and thinking that since they are our sponsor they should be trusted. just my two cents. :/
No excuses for him. He is being reviewed by the admin and we will get this corrected. Sorry to hear of all the problems with him.
We are looking for another BDM supplier to take care of all of you.
