All I can say is I AM IMPRESSED!! Great job!:2thumbs: And I am certainly going to take some lessons from you in finishing my K-9 project! (Don't think I can stay under $12K though).

Shovelcowboy,Derek told me he sold you a K9 roller and thanks to the rest of you guys as well compliments from your peers on a forum mean a whole lot more than some idiot that don`t know nothin but heres the basic breakdown:

Ok heres how i did it
Frame with oil tank,battery box and swing arm friend at Big Dog 700
Front end was 1500 with brakes Vince and Ted hooked me up
Tins were beat up had to fix 200 Ebay
Wheels,rotors,sproket and tires Ebay 400
Pm brakes Ebay 140 for the set
Motor parts 1200 plus 1500 for machine work AIH buy out
transmission 400 Ebay and Burt helped with the mods Guieny Pig
Belt drive 2000 Showtime from here
Wirin harness and ehc 60 Ebay
Landmark Air ride 240 Ebay
Headight 20 Ebay
Turn signals with brackets front 200 Headwinds
Rear struts and sissy bar with Pad Yard sale 65.00
Seat 160 Ebay
Smoked rear lens Harley 12.00
Handle bars with controls 120 Ebay
Pegs and grips here 100
Folding tag bracket here and he threw in the rest 40
Coils and mount here 80
Oil coolers here 1 was 100 and the other was 175
AlloyBoltz cut me a deal on all the nuts and bolts(Polished Stainless)cause they wanted a bolt breakdown 140
Chromer charged me 1100 to chrome everything
Gas cap 180 from jake
I kept all the reciepts cause I didn`t know what DMV was gunna want as was I was used to titling wrecks

I`m sure I missed some stuff but not much it was all in the swap section
and on Ebay
My Title says 2010 Big Dog Motorcycle and model was K9

I really want to build a 330 ridgeback I guess I better start looking around more

Sure did it was in pieces they were pretty near givin the stuff awayat the auction but you had to be present I buoght a bunch of other stuff too made almost enough sellin it on Ebay to cover building my bike they were selling Daytec frames with MSO for 150 bucks so I got a few if them too.. the warranty return RSD roadmax trannies were 45 in a 50 lot ect. The deals are out there you just gotta hunt when Showtime posted his belt drive I went straight after it cause I had been lookin,I got a bunch of the bike from him even got the spoiler which I can`t deciede if I want to install or not so Good Luck it can be done. I didnt think I did all that good on the motor cause Dereck is always sellin complete 117 motors for 3500

Damn good lookin' Dog there Rub! :eek: Mine is sitting in pieces but will get it back together soon. Damn valve guide worn. I got to git some S&S rocker boxes and roller rockers......as soon as I can afford it. When I'm back up and running, I'll be down for a beer. :cheers::whoop::cheers:

Hey Rub, I didn't keep up with this thread very well, you posted this on the first page. Yeah that was me at Panama City. And I agree those Roland Sands Judge wheels would be the shit on your build. I'll make it a point to be better at meeting folks this fall at Thunder Beach. I hope you will be there with your ebay bargin bike. Would love to see it in person. Any more talk with Ed about the paint scheme you described?

Thanks zipsman03 not wantin to sound like a forum suckass but most of the ideas and mods came from here,I liked the alternator upgrade the most but when you haint never seed stuff put together all the pitchers on here even when they pitchers of somethin else made assembly a breeze cause the manual used some big words I din`t understand

If you would have went to Jackson the dude up there would have fixed your TP rocker boxes and rockers a hole lot cheeper tha neue stuff costs but I`m cheep but you could be ridin

I thought it was yew, dont see a lot anymore that I havent tried but the oil cooler diamond cut was a killer idea.Some dude was on here a while back tryin to sell wheels like yew got for like 1500 a set and I have tryed to hunt the thread or source and couldn`t find it my next mod is gunna be talking a thunder mountain rear fender liscence plate mount and instalating the mount in my rear fender to get rid of the tag mount on the side I won a spare set of tins and side covers on Ebay the other night for 110 bucks so when I get the tag frenched in they are headed to Mr.Ed for graphics tried to call him Monday on the fone and he didn`t answer. :2thumbs::2thumbs:
