I have never "weighed in" on this thread but in reading all the comments I think it totally depends on your view of marriage and women at the time.

Years ago I separated from my 1st wife and REALLY believed that I would NEVER EVER marry again. To me it was like a contract of ownership where manipulation and co-dependent game playing was the norm. To be fair I think I was going thru a VERY REAL (to me) mid-life crisis at the time. SO at that time (and for some time afterward) It definitely would have been "Keep the Bike".

Then I met my beautiful wife Linda. Neither of us thought we wanted to get married so we "lived in sin" for 5 yrs and brought NO baggage from our past into our FUN (AND believe me, we DID have FUN)! We fell in love, married, and continue our great friendship, partnership, romance, and pursuit of good times to this day. I can count on her to be there for me (and me for her). She has my back! AND we Will "Ride off into the sunset Together"!

SO today IF I had to choose my bikes or Linda, THEN the bikes would go.

Here's to you (us), Babes! And to More Good Times!:2thumbs:

If my woman gave me an ultimatum her or bike? I would take the bike.
Any other reason I would pick the woman.

Well I almost gave mine up for the last one and I wasn't even married. Had started looking for a ring when I came to my sense. All of my buddies telling me how she doesn't let you live or go anywhere, even when you go out with her. She got so pissed when we would go to bike night because of people coming up wanted to talk about the dog. Well even though I would have my arm around her and ALWAYS went home or came home to her I would be in the dog house for the next few nights. I guess some people were just too insecure to see I only wanted her.

So I can understand where some of you are coming from on choosing your bike over your girl but hopefully the one I find never makes me choose. Should I find that one and it comes back to this question, hopefully there is a justifiable reason for making this request. If it is the one, I would go with the girl over the bike any day, until that time, Paycheck will be around!

Got to pick the wife, the bike reminds me of the x.
Expensive, high maintenance and loud. Great ride though!

I am just now getting her to ride on that suction seat without a sissy bar, ( stayed on a smooth road of course!!!)

( 34 years and counting, besides she bought me this scooter :choppersmiley:) even though she reminds me all I do is polish it, ride only in non raining days )

:2thumbs: I gotta choose the old lady over my old Softail. :2thumbs:
Been very happily married for over 27 years. I really like my bike.
But I really love my wife. (She's got her own bike anyways)
