Check your battery ... mine did the same sort of thing. Ran like crap but after charging the battery it ran like a mad dog. Hope it's that simple for you too. :D

puredestruction, suferdude is right if you have a voltage meter check your battery see what kind of volts is in your battery, than maybe check how much its dropping when pushing starter button.. i had same problem to i learned to keep a battery tender on at all times.... do you keep a battery tender on it??

one other thing to check if you dont have spark or power to your coil is your cam sensor, just somemore things popping in my empty head, good luck and keep us informed:cheers:

good point mobsta had buddy had a 04 mastiff men i worked on it for hours.... finally i thought ehc was shot.. so i took it strokers in dallas, they said it was the ehc, cause bright light quit working and they said that was a sighn trowards the ehc going out... so they put a new one on and still wasing running...long story short it was the cam sensor or trigger plate it was cracked... they charged him 1700 dollars all it needed was a 40 cam sensor they said they had like 12 hours of labor trying to figure it out.... but being electrical computer they cant take back off.... but they said before it was deffently the problem... glad it wasnt me paying we would have problems..... but anyways the bike had same symptoms puredestruction no fire but day before it ran fine.. goodluck

Yeah all is good. No spark to plugs, Wires or all good. It's either the ThunderHeart or the cam sensor. I just cant figure it out. Never delt with a cam sensor where and how do i check it? i know dumb question, but i can't find the cam sensor. Any Pictures available?

Not sure about your engine but on the 117's the pickup is mounted on the front of the engine right near the plug for the voltage regulator.

On the 107 it may be in the camshaft nose cone, I'm sure some one can chime in on that.

Also as far as charging goes make sure your circuit breaker form the VR is not tripped and you're getting a full charge back to the bat

The coil is mounted behind where your key goes. Be sure all the wires are connected. 2 plug wires and 3 small wires. I've had one of the small wires brake before.

thats what i figured, have to lift my tank to unbolt that cover. What i can see is that they are all connected and in good shape but i'll pull the cover thanks. Any idea where the cam sensor is maybe a pic or something
