Steve: Do you know if a luggage rack can be installed on the low boy sissy bar?Dead you are correct. It’s the old part number for most any 300-rear tire Big Dog motorcycles made. Struts not included. 2007 motorcycles and up come with sissy bar holes in the struts. This auction also has a luggage rack and backrest pad. Sissy bar alone is $215.00. Luggage rack is $209.99 and backrest pad is $123.99. Backing plate. That’s another $65.00. Maybe a good deal, maybe not. It could be one of the recall sissy bars and you don’t want them. Bolts broke often because the sissy bar was too small for the hole. You would have to keep a check the bolts.
Yes Dead is right. This bar may be a great deal if someone dont run the price up on ebay.I'm not Steve, but yes it can be installed on the 12" bar. The spread on both the 12" and the 18" is the same! It just needs to be on a K-9 or maybe even on another BDM with a 300 tire, it might fit!
