i got the main tuned the best while hammering down the hwy. got home and it took 2 3/4 turns to seat the main jet. directions say if its 3 turns out you need a more aggressive "recipe" of needle and slide.

havent contacted PSI yet cause i'm waiting on tuning tips from Scott. which i got tonight!

think i will just have to send the slide and needle back for an upgrade.
Hey Sul help me out on here now. Everyone thinks that i am Bullshitting about these carbs. I am telling you we will get you to get this tunned in and i know you will be impressed!!!!

Now understand Sul's opinion will hold better weight around here... but also remember that Sul has extensive motor and head work. His compression is WAY higher...

Yesterday was my first day of freedom (vacation) in quite some time. And, since it was forecast to be 83 degrees, that's right 83, in the Tampa Bay area, I took the dog out to clear the cob webs. I stopped by a new little shop that opened about 6 months ago just south of Palm Harbor. Low and behold, they were installing a PSI carb on a customers bike. Long story short, the carb is most definately more impressive when you're holding it in your hand. The machine work is beautiful. The guy told me that it was the third one they had installed, and the only way he could describe it, was that it made the bottom end of the motor seem lighter. It tached up quick, like a race car. He said he would have the bike done and ready to fire this friday. I'll be heading back down there to check it out.

I don't know what kind of bike it was, it was a custom of some sort. But the motor was an S&S. They were replacing the G that it had on it.

I was in la la land holding the carb, it was sweet. It made me want to run it without the air cleaner, it looked that good.

One thing the guy told me was that it didn't work well with a short air cleaner. I'm not sure what he meant by that.

Scott, Nobody thinks your Bullshitting, We Just don't trust many people who come on and make claims with their first few posts, we get a lot of sales people round here who have no Clue how Smart we are :) Don't take it personal, You are probably a great guy and have experianced everything you claim, but it takes the word of folks we know before we're sold on something new. Plus you have to admit, there has been some bad press about these carbs, Whether it's Real or not.
Exactly...

I'll ride in the back,, and your Camero,, can do wheels stands for a city block!! :flag: Hell,,, my bike won't even spin the tires,, CAUSE i GOT NO WHEELS!!!! :bang:

Gotta have some weight transfer.:whoop: I bet you have a better chance than me. Maybe on a drag strip without all the greasy shit we have on our roads. My bike will spin before it ever thinks about lifting a tire. I think I'll save the wheelies for my 450 with four wheels.:D

For the money and the fame of the XXX is well worth it.
PSI, if you lower your prices maybe you will have a better response from carburetor motorcycle riders.
One of the guys I ride with had the PSI and his acceleration was hesitating.
Contacted PSI but no luck with their technical expertise to fix the problem. Now he is back to a XXX and his dog is riding better than ever.
