Lived in VA almost all my life and I now reside in SC and I get out to allot of rallies, I've never once seen these colors....

I suggest getting accurate information from your bud since he is the one in the club. All you’re going to find elsewhere is here-say. It is always a good idea to go to the source.

Brother MARV apparently has info on said club but is very skeptical about who he shares the info with. Can-Dog-1, I agree with toadstool to pay a visit to one of the gathering and see for yourself. Anyway for membership you have to prospect for a minimum of 6 months in most clubs, so you'll have plenty of time to decide if it's what your looking for.

I don't know if the word "apparently" would or would not be accurate, but I do know with most clubs, talking about club business outside of the club is strictly forbidden.

just my .02

I completely agree but this is not club bisiness its just a recomendation. You ask me about my previous colors I will gladly give you my opinion, I wont tell you about their business but could tell you if they are worth riding with or associating with the club.

Not club business Tex. I just want to know if anyone has heard anything about this club. Yes I have been asked to pledge, yes I have to probie for 6 months, however in saying that I don't want to get associated with a club that has such a low profile.

??

Then don't associate with them.... "Guest" riding is there to provide time for the club to decide if they like you enough to want to "consider" you for membership. "Prospecting" means they are interested in you but want to see if you are dedicated, real, a fit for the club and to give you time to make the same decisions about the club. If I were a member of the club and caught wind that you were asking around... your prospect days would be over.

Ride with the club, be active in your "Guest" and "Prospecting" time and be alert for any activity that you don't like or do like... but I wouldn't solicit from outsiders

Having a website for a club other than 1% is not a bad idea. A 1% club with a website is not a good idea.
Some 1% clubs would very easily say that by posting their link or colors you have put their business "out on the street" Some would not like the idea and grumbling would start. Once around a MC all the rules go away and you play by theirs.
I don't know if the club you mention is a 1% club or not. I did not go to their websight but i did look at your link to their colors.
I've been down the road you are considering traveling when I was a young man. I've seen it all. Prospected, Patched out, Made Sargent of Arms, and was 6 months off of a Nomad patch when my daughter was born. Things started changing and with a first baby, deep down inside I knew I owed my time to her. From the way things shook out someone was going to get hurt and it wasn't going to be me. From that i retired. Most people get hurt when that happens but i was young, the enforcer, and no one really wanted to mess with me. I was alucky one and was allowed to retire in good standing.
I need to shut up right now and you need to highly reconsider what you are about to partake in. It could turn out to be the biggest mistake of your life.
