Fork tubes can be cut down to length pompey. If yours are in good shape it will save you a few dollars.I guess thats the best thing to do. I think I am just going to order them from BDM, some times you just have to pay up :loony:

I am having no luck trying to buy just the fork tubes just cant find out what the size is? I know it's +2 from stock, BUT I can't find a standard stock size. The size range from 20" to 24 1/2" I have called Low Country Customs in Garden City, GA. Talked a dave in parts & that was last week I called back & he told me he would get back to me!! I guess I will have to take my forks of & measure & order them sit back & wait. What did you end up doingGood luck just buying the tubes. Just got off the phone with John, what a helpful guy found out that the tubes size are taken from standard softail, for the pitbull which are 24 ¼ so John said I will need 26 ¼. Thanks I have this one sorted out:2thumbs:For what it is worth... I replaced one of my tubes last winter when i replaced my seals and bushings. +2 over a stock HD if i remember right.. Bought it from Beezer (member) and BDM service center, less than $90 :2thumbs:
knows his stuff Give him a call.

Staffy the problem I had was finding out what BDM was taking the "standard" length from?? All the HD's models have different standard lengths. But thanks to John:2thumbs: he knewWhen BDM refers to fork length they usually mention + “something” – I imagine referring to “standard length” + number of inches. What is that “standard length” they refer to?
