Well I sure hope that BDM is able to make it through the rough times, but regardless if they do or not, still love my bike and plan to keep it going as long as possible, regardless of factory support or not.
Interesting on the so-called disgruntle employee remarks. See 80,000 plus warrenty on 25,000 bikes, that is a mena of 3. Do not see that as that unusal for a MC or auto.
EHC issues, could be better, but still going strong on my third (keep in mind the first was changed under a TSB, the second was changed due to my fault by bending a pin during reassembly of the harness).
3 a day for a 5 day week is 15 per week or 780 a year, seems doable. Major problem as pointed out is folks getting the financing, credit is very tight for many and even with excellent credit, the lending institutes are looking at the numbers a great deal more in detail then the high flying days of just a 18 months ago.
Lee is right and makes a good point for the European and oveseas folks have had to deal with no factory support since the get go, but with the help of the people on here, they are still riding and smiling on the joy of the BD. BTW Lee you ever hear of anything from that man Jen that came here and bought the K-9. Never see him on here!
