I also used the how to as a reference along with my service manual to adjust the clutch and push rod. I thought I followed the directions to a tee. But afterwards I had clutch slippage. Come to find out in my service manual, if you remove the housing and grease the clutch actuator after you put it back together and adjust the clutch rod ie, turn in clockwise until freeplay is gone (which literally means if you feel resistance, stop) then turn it counter clockwise 1/2 turn. I don't know why there's a difference but there is. So I would say if it slips, turn it out another 1/4 turn before you do anything else... All this and the 1/16th free play at the lever.....
