Well as many of you know I am always moaning and griping about my many electrical issues! Sorry! But anyway my bike has been at a custom shop where the EHC and some of the other electrical issues are attempting to be resolved.
A Wire Plus WP 143 was purchased to control the lighting as my bike is an 03. So anyway I get a call from the mechanic that told me to stop by and see what was going on! "You won't believe what I have taken off this thing, I don't understand why they are so redundant or do any of this the way they do," is what I hear coming through my phone, lol! I said, please tell me that its all going to be OK. He laughed and said it would be!
Well I did stop by to check and there was my EHC laying on the work bench no longer attached to the bike! And much to my disbelief, he showed me, lighting, turn signals and brake lights as well as indicator lights working.
The next big thing to surprise me was that the tank was off and there was no longer a big jumble of wire's and connections there any longer! I asked where they were and he said we don't need them.
I know its premature to get excited as there is still a lot more to do! I have been plagued with so many issues, but I am trying to be optimistic and hope that this is the light at the end of the tunnel.
For all those with similar issues I will keep you updated, hopefully about it being successful! Say a prayer for my dog!
