Hoat,

Harley is a different unit and I'll continue selling those myself. BDM will only be taking over the Big Dog version of Cruise-Mate.

By the way, I still give 15% off to forum members for the Harley and Metric Cruise-Mate's as well as the Big Dog ones.

But remember, once BDM takes over the Big Dog version, I will no longer sell them:whoop:

For the guys who own this product already.....

My buddy was wondering how easy it was to unlock the throttle. Do you twist the throttle to unlock it or do you have to "unlock" it with your fingers?

He was thinking that in a quick response situation that he would prefer to not have it in the "locked" for safety reasons.

I don't own one but I don't think it locks the throttle in position. It applies resistance so the throttle doesn't close by itself. You can still manually roll on and off the gas. Someone help this guy out and tell him if I am correct.

It doesn't lock persay! It's similar to the stock unit but has a teflon head on it that holds tension on the throttle. You set how much tension you need by the lever action of the devise. This is the coolest part of the Cruise-Mate. If it's not providing enough tension then you just rachet it back and it gives you more. You have to watch Toms vidoe to understand what I'm saying. I set it with my thumb and release with my index finger like pulling a trigger.
But at anytime you can just twist the throttle and let off the gas. The Cruise-Mate gives you just the amount of tension you want to hold the throttle at your setting. Pretty cool design and I'm not afraid to say I was the first here to get it!!!! :D

Gas,
Yes, I will still be making them for BDM. Just giving them exclusive rights to sell. Helps BDM in that they won't have competition with the product and helps me because they are going to market it as "Cruise-Mate Motorcycle Throttle Control".

N8KAM, yes, you can pay via pay pal, my pay pal address is thomas.m.lane@comcast.net, when you call to order I will give you total price including shipping.

Is it going to be a standard equipment instead of the thumb screw POS or just a factory option?

Gas,
I believe their intent is to put it on the new bagger as a stock item and after sale option on all other bikes.
