Never ran it vertical because I never had any problems with the A/F ratio. At least it was not noticable. Always wondered if it was because of the twist design that it worked better than most spike type air filters.
I was running the Mean Mother exhaust, XXX G carb and stock cam while I had this air cleaner on.
If you decide to let it go, is it just the filter or the whole setup with bracket and everything?I've got a D&M Twister that I just replaced with an S&S dual port but I'm not sure if I want to let it go yet. It's not the highest performance air filter but served me well for the past couple years and nothing looks better.

Will do. How did that one perform vs the stock cleaner? It would be the entire assembly which includes the mounting bracket along with the filter. I should know in a couple weeks if it will be going on the market. Keep in mind that this assembly is over $600 new.
Entire assembly?I have a chrome one with the rounded tip.
What're you asking for it and is it in good condition?Yes but I don't have the brace. My dealer never told me about it when I bought it and so I never used one.
