Tuning

Who do you all recommend to tune with an exhaust change? I'd like to get the Blow Exhaust for my K9, and then it would need to be dyno tuned I'm sure. I'm in central Kentucky, but will make a decent drive to get it right.
I would say just swap the pipes and the knowledge on this forum will help you get it tuned. Just a word of warning, open pipes can be a headache to tune. You can get it where it runs decent, but it won't be perfect. Any competent dyno operator will tell you that dyno tuning open pipes is a compromise. There are several members here that like the blow pipes, so I'm sure they can point you in the right direction.

You will be very lucky if you are able to score a set for the RSD setup. There is a member on here who has a set he bought but didn’t like or he had some sort of issue. Anyway I believe he took them off and went with V&H. He might be the guy to talk to first. If your bike is carbureted it’s pretty easy to tune for them yourself. Not thinking Barnes is selling them any longer but I suppose you could check. Knothead would be the man to help with the work in my honest opinion.Best of luck! I like them myself.
