Whats a good filter setup for the mikunis?
You can use just about anything you want if you are getting the universal air cleaner adapter. The stock S&S teardrop is decent. You can boost the flow a bit with the wide element kit. I've heard that the screamin' eagle heavy breather is good. The forcewinder is pretty good. Yeah, the spike air cleaners are known to be restrictive, but some guys are ok with that because they like the look. I can understand that. It all depends on what you want.

Ya i have the teardrop now with the newer big dog cover. I kinda want to change it to something common that i can get a paper filter for. The teardrop i can only find the k&n style and it fits goofy and lets to much dirt in. Not really a fan of the spikes anyway myself.

The S&S tear drop won’t work on the Mikuni due to having a cable pull enricher not the handle of an S&S

Jonathan, they make a short choke knob for the mikunis. It would probably only work on chopper style bikes though. I doubt you would be able to get your hand in behind the carb on the pro-street style bikes.
