looks like someone used that old torque spec. Tighten till it breaks something, then back it off 1/2 turn.Well I finally got around to putting my new air breather on. How does it look?

This is the reason it took so long.

You know I have custom pipes on my bagger and I'm actually thinking of going back to the stock ones or biting the bullet and pulling the trigger on making a spare Kerker 2 into 1 work on the bagger....But yours looks so clean with those pipes on it.
Do you have to do any tuning when switching out your slip ons pipes with the EFI on the Baggers? I’ve read the EFI will remap itself on small mods. Thanks for the kind wordsThose are the Mean Mothers slip ons, love the way they sound.
Well you'll first have to have o2 bungs welded into the pipes for the o2 sensors, I've not found a set of Vance and hines that will fit the RSD of a big dog with the o2 sensor ports already in them, then you'll have to make a mounting bracket that supports the rubber mount motor. I found the company that makes the factory rubber mount support piece on the bracket on our bikes now. I actually already ordered a few because I have 3 different pipes I want to try out on my bagger since I have an unlocked VFI, cam and small bolt-ons for added HP. I have a Kerker 2 into 1 that came off a 2008 Mutt I really want to try, Then I also want to cut my slip-ons by about 6 to 8 inches and try them, but I want another bracket to support them to make cleaning the rear wheel and rear pulley easier, and I want to try the Vance and Hines big radius 2 into 2 also. My issue at the moment is having time to tear down, mock up for the bracket and finding someone to make and chrome the bracket. Another issue is that the Vance and Hines go between the nose cone and floorboard, there may be a clearance issue there if you don't use the 2.5 inch peg extensions.Do you have to do any tuning when switching out your slip ons pipes with the EFI on the Baggers? Next I’m trying to figure out if the Spike Air cleaner will work ?
Any help will be greatly appreciated!
I just found and purchased a 2010 Bagger a couple weeks ago. Previously I had an old Boxer that had Carb
My Bagger has been in shop getting rocker box gaskets replaced for oil leak! Ever since I got it home. Sucks! So I haven’t had a chance to look or figure it all out. I want to upgrade pipes, I found the mean mother slip ons but wanted V&H Big Radius pipes I haven’t been able to verify the ones I found on up work on the Bagger EFI ? )
Good info! I did find one guy on Facebook market place selling his bagger and asked him to please send me pictures of how his Vance and Hines 2 into 2 big radius pipes mounting bracket was made and how it was installed but he never sent the photos. I had also asked where and who made it and he told me it was done years ago and the shop was now out of business, still would have like to know the name of the place but he kept that to himself too.

Yeah I've been so busy with work and personal life that I've not done alot on here or the bikes. LolGood info! Nice to see a post from you!
