Fuel pump gets no power.

Energy One
Ha anyone had this issue?
The pump is connected to a set of 4 wires. 2 of them power the pump (brown and grey) and the other 2 power the rest what is inside the tank.
As far as I get the pump gets power once the ignition is on and the "Power" button is engaged.
I measured the voltage and I get the reading on the other 2 wires of 13 v, but on the brown and grey it shows only 0.08, which is definitely not enough.
What might be the reason?

You have the wrong wires, the pump is red and black.
Brown and white are the low fuel thermistor.

The pump is only powered for 2 seconds to prime the system at key on.
You should only see 12V during the first 2 seconds or when the engine is running

The wires are correct, brown and grey. The voltage is 0.08 not higher. I found one cut wire under the battery tray. There is some sort of black relay under it with a set of red wires, one is cut. The problem is that to get an access to it, I will have to take the tray out, which I believe, will mean disconnecting all the harness.
Another thing came out, the liner inside the tank is peeling off. It was not even spread properly, there were some missing spots. The bike is 2018. 5000 miles. Already burned the clutch, which has been discontinued, voltage regulator died, both oxygen sensors have been changed, front cylinder gasket started leaking, changed, fuel pump is about to die and and gives this terrible noise, bought a new one, front brake cylinder got stuck, changed, the tank has to be treated from the inside due to the line peeling off. My 2012 FXDWG with a milage of 60,000km only gets served every 8,000km (regular oil change with filters). Is the quality of Big Dogs so terrible, or am I the 'lucky" one?

Unfortunally the "New BD" has limited employees. They do decent work mostly, but seems like you got one built on Friday before the holiday. The older ones had issues as well if that helps? Once ya get it all sorted out, you will have a fairly reliable ride. HD doesnt have repair shops everywhere for no reason. If it has tits or tires it'll eventually cost ya $$. Jmo

We are talking about different connectors.

In your original post you mentioned the 4 pin connector. (External to the tank) That is the schematic I posted above.

The pump itself, shown in your pic are in fact different colors. (internal to tank)

Sounds like you have a lot on your mind, might want to clear your head and focus on a systematic process to work through one specific issue at a time.

You must also keep in mind that the vast majority of the experience contained within this forum is that of the original Big Dog Motorcycles. Your 2018 is BDM mostly in name only. There is no guarantee that the bike you have is the same as the member bikes here. Therefore, the manuals available here should be used and perused with a grain of salt. Wire colors may not be the same, etc.

Well, then this explains everything, including the quality. Nevertheless, it is mostly the frame and the paint job, which looks like a sticker, as I accidentally dented the head light and noticed a film hidden under the coating. The paint job thus did not suffer as I fixed the dent and covered it with a layer of polish. Not sure who produces the control modules, but the rest of the stuff has no connection to BDM anyway.

Ok
The fuel pump is working now.
As it turned out there was a wire cut from that small relay that is under the battery tray. Not sure why Big Dog placed these two relays in that hidden place where you can't reach them but by removing the whole tray. The harness inside looked like there was an explosion in a spaghetti factory. Fixed it all, now looks neat.
The next step is the tank. I have to figure out how to remove all that junk liner that is peeling off.

Tape off the tank so you keep it nice, toss in some various nuts bolts or small pieces of chain, cap it and shake shake shake till the nasty flakes off. If you reline, the remaining old liner will be covered up n sealed in. There are some decent products out there for relining.

I was thinking about it but then I realized there is a tiny tube inside, I believe to let the tank breathe. I am a bit scared to damage it.
How wise it to NOT reline the tank and keep it bare?

You wont hurt the insides. Lined or bare is up to you. Some hate liners, some dont mind. A new liner with non ethanol gas should outlast you. If no liner, keep a full tank. The ethanol in the gas is what causes most issues. Of course the factory didnt line the tanks right to begin with. Some were ok some were not. I relined the Pitbull with no issues so far. The Chopper hasnt given me any trouble, yet.

I just cleaned mine out with compressed air, the original liner did not continue to get worse.
Left in alone and relied on th filter. Has been fine for a few years now.
About 4 years ago I just flushed out my gas tank and installed a new pet cock with no problems last 4 years.

Finally placed the tank back on the bike today. Changed the fuel pump to a new one from Quantum. The bike started OK, but then became lean. Hooked to the computer. Rear O2 sensor shows no activity. Luckily, I got new ones from BD. I had changed the front before I got the wire problem. Just hope that once I have changed the rear one nothing else will dye (my cat is the only family member that is still not laughing at me))

Let em laugh......then when they wanna go for a ride, its ur turn to laugh.

It turned out that the rear sensor is fine and the problem is with the rear cylinder not getting power. The injectors are working fine, I can see it once I connect the bike to the comp. The cylinder is not getting hot. I also disconnected the plug wire while it was running and nothing changed, same shaking. I believe it is either the coil or the plug, possibly the wire. If I am not mistaken the coil is: S&S High Output 0.5Ohm Single Fire Coil. Which wires and plugs would you recommend?
