Seen where some people have been asking about Zoop products. I know Gasman and others have used it to good results.
Here is nothing more than reading info for those who may want to try it.

Rubber Gloves

This kit will supply you complete coverage for 75 sq. ft, which covers an entire engine AND four wheels. ZoopSeal will NOT remove any scratches or nicks that are on your product, so you may need to have your product re-polished BEFORE you apply ZoopSeal, since it will seal in any defects your product already has.

Pre-Application Step:

Pour the bottle Part “B” into the bottle Part “A”, (DO NOT USE ANOTHER BOTTLE YOU MAY HAVE laying around, we provide you with all bottles). Shake the bottle to mix it together. This becomes ZoopSeal, the mixture could take a max. 3 hours to complete the blending process. Periodically shake the bottle up. (If mixture looks separated after you continue to shake the bottle, please call ZoopSeal). WARNING: PART “A” AND PART “B” ARE FLAMMABLE! DO NOT SMOKE OR LIGHT A MATCH AROUND THESE CHEMICALS! ZoopSeal is not compatible with strong acids and alkaline products. These will remove the ZoopSeal.

Application Steps:

STEP 1:

ZoopSeal Concentrate Cleaner

Clean product thoroughly with ZoopSeal cleaner, you can use the towels provided or a soft lint free polishing cloth.
Mix ZoopSeal Cleaner: 15 parts tap water to 1 part ZoopSeal cleaner in the 8 oz. spray bottle included in the kit.
Spray ZoopSeal Cleaner onto product and thoroughly clean the product. You may repeat this process as many times as you need in order to have a “squeaky” clean product. Be sure to rinse the product off each time with distilled water.
Make sure the product is “squeaky” clean and free of streaking or water spotting. No water droplets left , water and ZoopSeal do not mix. The product being treated needs to be completely dry.
STEP 2:

ZoopSealer (Product left over needs to be refrigerated. It should last up to 2 weeks, refrigerated.)

Take the pre-mixed ZoopSealer and apply it in a dry environment. Apply a small amount onto a lint free soft polishing cloth. Only swipe ZoopSeal on in one direction one time, until the product is completely covered. DO NOT RUB ZoopSeal into your product, ZoopSeal automatically flows into the pores of the product. A transparent, rainbowed film will appear, this is normal. Do not apply ZoopSeal too heavily. More is NOT better*!
Allow ZoopSeal to become dry to the touch. This could be as little as two hours and up to 24 hours. For Polished parts - proceed to step 3 below; un-polished parts are sealed and do not need step 3.* If ZoopSeal is applied too heavily, a more aggressive finish polish will have to be used to remove the excess. We suggest the use of an aggressive billet aluminum polish to remove this excess. We then advise to use Zoops Final Seal after the removal of the excess.
STEP 3:

Zoops Final Seal** (do not allow zoops final seal to dry on your product!)

Apply lightly with 3” square towel in sections of 6” x 6”.
While Final Seal is still wet start polishing off the product where ZoopSeal has been applied, using back and forth strokes until the Final Seal is no longer visible and a luster appears. If needed, Final Seal can be applied several times using the same back and forth strokes in order to produce the shine on your product.
Allow coated material to cure in a warm dry place for 24 hours.
**Do Not apply Final Seal to NON-POLISHED parts. It is for use on polished parts ONLY
Not ready to use all 4 ounces of ZoopSeal? Mix 3⁄4 of 1 ounce of Part “A” to 1⁄4 of 1 ounce Part “B” EXACTLY.

What is Zoopseal?
Zoopseal is a hybrid ceramic sealer, it is not a polish or wax. It is a protectorate.
What does a ceramic base sealer do?
It will impregnate into the pores of the product being treated, which will stop the process of oxidation immediately. A crisp, and clean appearance is the end result. Your product will continue to look like new without repolishing.
What can I use Zoopseal on?
Aluminum, Raw Aluminum, Brass, Chromed Plating, Stainless Steel, Anodized Aluminum Parts, Stainless Steel in Restaurant Kitchens, Outside Furniture, Awnings, and Paint.
How long does Zoopseal last on my product?
2 to 3 years.
When it is time to re-apply after 2 to 3 years, how and what are the steps?
You will need to re-condition your product if necessary and re-apply (you’ll need to re-order a Zoopseal Kit) using the same method as before. Just follow the Kit instructions and your product will continue to look like new.
Will Zoopseal rejuvenate or refurbish my product?
No, it will not. It will only protect from oxidation and dulling.
Will it harm the painted finishes on my car?
No it will not.
Will Zoopseal provide protection against fresh water?
Yes, but not against underwater abrasions.
What does salt water do to Zoopseal?
We recommend that you do not have your product immerged into salt water for a length of time (over 2 hours). If exposed to salt water use soapy water and wash off the salt within 2 hours. Salt water will cause your product to discolor.
How can I get Zoopseal off my product once it is applied?
By repolishing the product using any commercial polish.
What type of cleaners can be used on Zoopseal?
NO CAUSTIC OR ALKALINE CLEANERS. Only Zoops Cleaner is to be used on the product.
How much Zoopseal do I need on the lint free towel during the application process?
Very little!!! The towel should be barely damp, NOT WET!
Can I use Zoopseal on my radiator and will heat affect it?
Yes, you can use Zoopseal on a radiator. Heat from the radiator will help it to cure and make it stronger. We do not recommend putting Zoopseal on an exhaust, this heats up too much.
Can I use Zoopseal on Magnesium?
No, not yet, it is still being tested.
Can I use Zoopseal on Copper?
No, this has been tested.
Can I use Zoopseal on Fiberglass?
No, not yet, it is still being tested.

I ordered the ZoopSeal Master Kit 9550 from Eastwoodcompany on eBay yesterday ($89+shipping=$101.00). This was eBay # Item number: 360119005222.

I read the corvette boards and I think anyone that didn't like it most likely didn't do the application correctly.

Only one message said "in direct sunlight zoop sealed had a very slight haze as compared to a untreated brilliantly buffed part."

I read the app manual and I think that can be fixed as well.

It will be 2 or 3 weeks before I can try it. But I am going to powerball everything front to back just to get it back to new and then do every step they say.

Since my bike is a 2009, and I just went over 1000 miles, I don't have a lot to cleanup.

Any volunteers in Broken Arrow are welcome. My shop has central heat and lots of light. Cold is no issue.

After I have done it, I will let everyone know my 1st hand evaluation of the application of it, how long it took, how it looks, etc.

TRUE COLORS COLLISION
i have used powerball, buffing wheels and every other polishing device on the market to help in the polishing procedure of aluminum and find that all of them do nothing but create larger scratches and swirl marks than what was allready there,i have painted cars, bikes, for 30 years and truelly know what a real shine is and what some without the skills, wisdom or eyes percieve to be a "show shine"........what i have found is there is no SUPER PRODUCTS out there to make the whole polishing procedures any easier...it all boils down to old fashioned elbow grease in order to get your aluminum polished.....however i do not know if the zoops stuff truelly helps seal it all in and will allow the so called elbow greasing to only have to take place less periodically...i have only read of Gasmans use of this product last year and would like to know how time has allowed this product to hold up...also if anyone else has used this and can tell me its worth dropping a $100 in order to not polish my wheels for 2 to 3 years????i got it maybe lasting a little while..and maybe it works well for those that park there shit in there living room and admire it as a piece of art ,but me personally i wash my bike at least twice a week with soap and water ,cause i ride the crap outta it and it gets filthy,so i got the soap eventually wearing this magical $100 sealer right away...but this could just be the cynacism in me...so please those that have used this product please let me know your thoughts and what not on it...i just usually polish and seal with wizards products but the sealer definately aint a 2 part chemically catalyzed product!!!!!!!!!!!

I have used it numerous times and you can not tell it is on the aluminum unless you put too much on by not following the directions.

Here are some cheaper places to get it as well. Just make sure you are buying either the FULL kit or the MINI/JUNIOR Kit and don't get taken paying too much for the mini kit.

I think Summit Racing is the cheapest at $99 for the Deluxe and $79 for the Junior Kit:

DELUXE:
ZOOPS 9550 - ZoopSeal Protective Sealer Kits - summitracing.com

JUNIOR:
ZOOPS 95502 - ZoopSeal Jr. Protective Sealer Kits - summitracing.com

Other places to buy as well:

Zoop Seal Junior Kit - Metal Surface Protectant

ZOOPS SEAL - PROTECTIVE SEALER KIT FOR ALUMINUM from Yogi's Inc.

I think its GREAT and my rims look almost chrome and always do. Just spray detailer on it and wipe clean.

But its only as good as your polish job so do your VERY VERY best. Its a must to take the rims off the bike... MUST!!

Everything is pretty straight forward... BESIDES one thing

When they say put on a small amount of the sealer... what they should say is SO VERY SMALL THAT YOU DON'T EVEN REALIZE YOU DID ANYTHING!!! SO SMALL THAT YOU FEEL LIKE YOU'RE DOING IT WRONG... SO VERY SMALL THAT YOU FEEL LIKE THIS MUST BE HOW IT FEELS TO BE INADIQUATE (SP?) IN BED.

Understand?

you do it once... that's it.

Here's the thing... somebody should get a package and go in with 3 other guys... Then one guy uses it, then sends it to the next. There is ALOT in the kit.

Thinkin' ahead to prepare for 5 months of winter hibernation up here..:zzdisappointed: :nopity:

I'm planning a weekend later this month to put the bike up on the lift and powerball polish all the aluminum. I've read this thread and am interested in ZoopSeal, but my question this...is it really worth the time and money?

Any long term updates from those who have done this to their Dogs would be most appreciated.:2thumbs: Thanks! :)

Definately worth it. It eliminates the need to polish your wheels or whatever else you put it on. Anyway you can cut down the polishing time its great!

I ordered the Zoop Seal Deluxe kit and received it today. However, the instructions posted here are different that what came with the kit. There is no "Part A" or "Part B". Just Zoop seal and of course the "Final Seal". The instructions that came with it also don't mention the 2-part seal. Planning on giving my pup the once over today!

Keep us posted on how it goes. I'm interested, but just haven't decided to go forward with it yet.

DIDO, just received it, only one zoop seal, and one zoop final seal. No mixing.

But Gas is right, you only need to wipe once and apply very, very, very, very light coat.

Well, so far, so good. Took the wheels off, polished the F out of them, then cleaned with Zoop cleaner, and applied a "very, very, very, very, (ha-ha) thin coat of the zoop seal. Now I'm going to let it sit until tomorrow before attempting to do the second stage (final sealer). I'll let you know how that goes tomorrow.

OK, Here's my follow-up... Worked all day rubbing that ^*$* off. It really looks good but I'm not too sure it's worth all the work it took to get this far. I should have done just the wheels but NOOOOOOOOO not me! I did all the chrome and all the aluminum on the entire bike! Really have to rub and rub to get that out. Never did get to apply the second sealer, I still have more to rub out on the first application. Guess what I'm doing tomorrow? So, unless you just do your wheels and have a couple days to do it, you may just want to polish them as needed. I personally won't use Zoops again.

That's all I needed to hear...."no Zoop for me!" (Seinfeld - Soup Nazi )

The shit is awesome. But when we say put on VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY little amount, we mean it.

This happened to me. I did the best polish job in the world. PUt it on the wheels. Put it on too thick. Had to strip it off, repolish, and re zoop it. After speaking to Zoop office directly on tips.

You are to put on a such a light application that you don't even think you got any on it.

Another up-date... I just finished up with the final polish on it. Looks awesome! I also found the 1st polish came off easier today, I think it wasn't completely dry yesterday. Nevertheless, I think I will use it again but just wait 2 days instead of one to rub it out. I also did my H-D today and will let that sit the two days to see how it works out. :2thumbs:
