Talking about disturbing images, this little bugger decided to come out and see the wide world! After 800 random miles, 10 miles before we returned the Heritage to the rental office in Palm Springs!

I thought my bike saw JR's post and blow head gasket too when I heard the noise, before I saw innards of compression release...

And you do know long haul my friend.... and rain... Duck...(my new name for Tapio...) I think his real name is Charles but he doesn't want to admit it... I do know his wife calls him "sugar bean"
I think I have to give up and get a digital speedo. I did buy a new analog maybe 2 years ago, if fogged in few weeks, send it back to factory.
They fixed it by spaying rain-x inside.
Well that lasted for a while. Now it's all fogged again. Doesn't matter so much since the needle is stuck half the time either around 40 or 60. 60 actually looks better balanced.
If it happens to work at 70 it shows 70 to 80, at around 95 the needle goes like a little fucking maniac between 90 and 115.
I love quality analog meters!
The constant little glow of high beam doesn't really bother me too much. Last time the ring was full of water and all the idiot lights were lighted all the time I cleaned everything pretty good and filled the hole fucking ring with dielectric grease. worked pretty good for few years.

I had fun thank you! I
was and am actually pretty proud of my friend Heli. Only experience she had on bikes was bit short of 4000 miles on the back of my K9, then she bought a Honda 600 shadow for this summer, rode about 500 miles. Now about 700 miles with Heritage with no problems! 5'3" and all 110 pounds of female muscle
