I have a 107 that originally had the heads milled. Recently I have tore the motor down having the heads redone and bored the cylinders.030 over. I removed the old street sweeper style pipes I had and I am replacing with a bassani road rage 2-1. The engine currently has .600 cams would it be worth the money to do the xxx carb I love the look of the black maxx series what horsepower /torque increase could be expected if any. The bike dynoed at 107HP/117 tq with old pipes I would like to see around 130-135tq with new pipes, bore and carb.

I'm not an engine guy, and based on work several so called "engine guys" did on my previous 117 your not likely to see that.
If you want that kind of power I would highly recommend selling your 107 and investing in a 124.
Just my opinion after watching numerous people, myself included, do what your doing and still end up unhappy with the performance.
I went with a 124 and have been very happy

a properly selected XXX Carb would be money well spent IMO. I love mine, its a simple bolt on performance increase.

Your dreaming if you can get that kind of hp/tq out of that build. Throw more money @ it and you'll eventually get there.

I've got 2 xxx carbs there great... but your gonna spend way more then that and boring to 30 over isn't really gonna do much in hp... like it was mentioned kendal could answer or tell you the proper parts to get to get that hp... also john sachs did my heads he would be great to talk to about the head work... johns a true master at what he does and no bullshit... even if you don't want to hear it straight shooter....also gettin parts from mcgoom {mick} or john...will save you time and money...the right parts first time...anyway just my 2c goodluck peace ....

The only reason I am boring is because of cylinder and piston issues that the engine had after the tear down not for a suspected power increase. I know that tq number would be hard to achieve I was just curious what to expect the motor made good power before just wanted a little . Thanks for all the input and actually all work is being done by Doug @ CA Jones here in Wichita

Do a search for builds.....be prepared to replace the entire drivetrain as you will keep finding the next weakest link.

Have you upgraded the Ignition? If not, change it to a TH programmable (ASM-5012) The stock Ignition holds the power back... and since you already have done some mods and have a .600 cam... I am sure it will make a huge difference.

what number is everybody running their programmable ign on?
These are quotes from different members in different threads:

"Ok, i am a research nut! I called S&S, and Bob Wood, and come up with the same answer on timing. They both say that 30-32 degrees of advance is what makes these motors run the best. So on the Thunder Heart, setting the box at the 3 or 4 setting should give you the best overall performance. you can go to 5 if you have good gas and live in a low altitude location.
Setting 3 is 30 degrees
Setting 4 is 32 degrees
Setting 5 is 34 degrees
Setting 6 is 36 degrees"

"I was told by the local BDM dealer that with stock compression to be no more that about 30 degrees. I ran mine at 30 and 32 and I am staying at 32 for now until the gas goes to shit!"

"All I know is that bikes do get hot, traffic or no traffic and more than 30 degree timing on a hot day will eat your lunch sooner or later. You like what you have and I like what I have so it lets ride."

I called the shop thats doing my work he is a drag dealer and is checking the price for me. He usually makes me pretty good deals most stuff at cost thanks for the info this may just be the little extra I was looking for. Also I called and spoke to John about his carb work this man is extremely knowledgable and at $225 to bore, thunderjet and rebuild kinda seems like a bargain he will definitely be getting mine.
