XK Glow Led accents on K9

I finished my XK Glow accent lights, it was pretty easy, if you are thinking of doing it, I would advise to purchase the adhesive promoter pads with it. It made the job so much easier getting the lights to stick in place. I also used an Accel motorcycle wiring hose and sleeve kit. It is controlled by my cell phone as well.

Looks great. I been running XK glow for years now, even won the picture of the month on their web site. I know I have mentioned them on here several times when ppl would ask what kinda accent lights they run. Andy that runs the company is a friend of mine. I've been his ginny pig for years, got lights on both bikes, my boat and my truck. I love the find my vehicle feature..... comes in handy.

In SC at night time they can be a life saver. Ppl here don't look for motorcycles and some just don't look for nothing cause they shouldn't be driving, but with my headlight and these LED lights they can't use that excuse. lol

Yeah, SC drivers are a nightmare. Might be a good safety feature, but I've gotten to the point where I don't drive the bike a lot or far in the dark anymore. My norm is about 4.5 miles in the dark after DJ Bingo!

I never was a fan of them until the 04 Texas Chopper I bought had them on it. So people used to not see me and pull out in front of me all the time, then one night I turned them on and no one did it again, ever since then any bike I ride at night has them.

Same here JBM! I hardly ever ride in the dark anymore. Got cut off by some young girl on the phone on my Triumph 900 going home one night. I think that’s the last time I have rode when it was dark out. Live & Learn! Lol

Are those legal to run with , what state are you in. Pretty sure that would be illegal in Ca.

I'm in SC. As long as they aren't blue and strobing the cops dont mess with you here.

I think I'm going to look into a set of these as well for my k9. Have always liked the look and never thought about the enhanced night visibility factor. Do you buy it in a complete kit or by the light strip depending on what you want to illuminate??
BTW..... Love the look on king Lears ride!! Awesome job!!

So a few questions...... the XK Glow light that king learns used, are you able to change the coloror do you have to buy them in the color of your choice?? Are they dimmable for a soft glow or is it only the bright neon look???
