BDM actually tried to run All Balls starters one year (2002 I believe) They ended up being "No Balls" starters. They started off with the Compufire GEN II planetary gear reduction starters. They weren't worth a damn.

what do you recommend then? I've been trying get a deal on some compression releases or thinking about just getting a better/stronger starter. Sometimes the hesistation before the bike fires up worries me a bit.

Haze there is an option to install the electronic solenoid compression release on the 03 Pitbull, but you need to also use a "start module" from the 2002
