WTB stock coil cover & key switch

im in need of a stock coil cover if anyone has an old one lying around. Doesn’t have to be pretty I just looking to get this bike running for now, I’ll worry about cosmetics later, I just picked up another ridgeback 05 on eBay and it’s missing a few parts & not running right now. So, the coil cover,coil,key switch, & connector to the backbone harness are some of the missing parts, I really only need a coil cover as I’ve got an old coil and new plug wires I never ended up using, & I’m going to use a cheap tractor key switch from my local tractor supply if I can’t get a big dog one for a reasonable price no biggie, I got rid of mine years ago when it stopped working right. It’s also missing the air cleaner cover,filter and backing plate, throttle grip, needs a brake line and clutch cable, battery, and a couple other small parts I haven’t figured out yet lol but I really need that coil cover to get the ball rolling. I don’t know a whole lot about the history of the bike but I do know it was some guys “baby” and ended up getting repoed when him and his wife split up, it was in her garage with the primary cover taken off sitting next To the bike(looks like someone did a stator repair or attempted to at least as the crank plug is out and VR is not stock but that’s just my guess for now) there was some other parts taken off for some reason and those were never recovered during the repo but they got the cover sitting next to the bike at least. The bike has a lot of potential though, there’s no scratches on the paint, the aluminum looks salvageable, & I have a whole primary already If I need it. The motor has great compression and it shifts through gears just fine, clutch seems to work even though the primary has been bone dry for two years now, I just hope that when I put a battery in the EHC is working still. It would be the only dog out of my 3 that actually has an ehc lol. One dog has a unit from Curtis and my other dog has a unit from the dead one I really don’t want to replace another one if I don’t have to.

This is my second ridgeback now, I have a bulldog too which has rear shocks so I wa hoping to get a k9 this go around but when I saw this bike for 4500 as is I figured I’d jump on it and hope it wasn’t too bad off. At least this bike has a nice soft seat!

I think @Nukeranger has a ridgeback with a 330 tire, it doesn’t sound much bigger but when you see it, it looks huge compared to the 300.

Idk about curves but you’d think the bike would stand up by itself with a 330 tire

Yes needs lots of love indeed, it’s sad to see how bad some of the chrome and aluminum is, I’m glad Mrwright showed me how to polish my aluminum like a pro when I was at flint oak. Now I also realized I need the gromets and flat washers that hold the tank on if anyone knows where I can get some.
