Holy sh%$t, I have mean mothers on my 05 chop also but don't have anything close to what you have experienced, mine are still in excellent cond. You are not running hot or have been backfiring a lot have you that might have caused this kind of wear?

I think it started from bad welds/heat. They probably quenched them making them brittle. :down:
I ride pretty hard but watch the heat/oil press.

Weld a patch over the hole...they look nice on your scoot!

If the pipes were mounted with a tension on the mount, it could cause them to break like that. The stress on the pipes along with the vibration cracks them fast.

Loose bolts will do it also.

I'd call them and see if they'd fix them! I bet they'd at least give you a discount on a new set. If you gotta play hard ball email them this thread and we'll all make sure to never buy a set again!
