I got hit by a rock the other day. I was so pissed. Put a big gouge in the rear fender (down to the metal). I had some touch-up paint to ease the pain but to me it looks like crap. I figured I'd get a new fender, add a little point to the end cause I want one and get it painted. All while still enjoying the riding season as best as possible.

Safe Trails.. :chopper:

that sucks I plan on using 3m clear chip tape on the back of my fender I really don't want to but I'd rather have that on there than get all pissed at myself for not putting it on, my wife's bike got a chip on the edge all I did was sand it flat masked 1/4 inch of the edge and sprayed it with plastidip it actualy looks like it's suppose to be there
I got the 3m clear bra on my CTS-V and it looks Okay but I wouldn't get it again. Yea it protects. The car is gray so it's okay but for your beautiful orange, I'd think about it more.. Your bikes color really pops at ya now it may not after the addition of the tape. Just sayin with my experience.. good luck..

That just don't make sense. The guys at big dog want to build bikes, not sell parts
Are you thinking they are going to be using new old stock.
I'm thinking that they are Big Dog now. They are setting up a dealership network and they are going to distribute parts for new and old Dogs through their dealer network. Bringing all OEM parts back under the Big Dog roof.

Even the new website has a tab for parts that says "coming soon"

I doubt Derick and Donna would sell their parts back to BDM. Now I could see they may enter a mutual arrangement where they sell the parts through their website. But BDM will start making the parts again they kind of have to if they want to sell bikes, but they prob won't make the older style Rim's/Pulley's, etc will still need to get the NOS from the McClouds

I'm afraid if I have to wait long for Big Dog I'm going to have to pay out the ass like I did before for parts when they were active. I'd rather just get one now. If not, I'd rather get one made for the price I'll pay from Big Dog. Anyone know a good suitable substitute for the tins? Here's a good example of a way to expensive fender. Maybe I'm cheap..

Update: Thanks to BigDogPartsKing for coming through. I have the new fender in for sheet metal work (It's a surprise) and paint.
