Hey gang,
I read a lot on here, but don't really post a lot. I currently have one of those foreign bikes and am trying to sell it.
I've really been looking hardcore into some Big Bear's and Big Dog's. I'm really leaning toward the Big Dog b/c there's a really close local dealer (R&B Cycles), plus I know they are factory made which is a relief for me. I like the Big Bear's b/c they are cheaper and look sweet, but it's almost impossible to tell which ones are factory built and home built. I don't want a home built one....at all. Although I've come across some killer deals on home built ones like 06 models for $10k.
I'm really in no hurry, but have been on the look out for a month and a half or so. I liked JT's PitBull but I never could test drive one. I want a soft tail.
My favorite color is black, but I'll entertain other colors as well...like burnt orange, and some blue's.
I like the "feel" of the K-9 sitting on it, and my wife says I look best on it. However, I do like the look of the Mastiff better, and the Mastiff's seem to have a better looking wheel setup on them. I'm not sure why Big Dog wants to put those ugly wheels on a beautiful bike. So at this point whichever I can find at the best deal is what I'll go for.
Low miles is a must. I'm not talking like 1000 miles, but I don't want someone else's high mileage problem.
I know I'll get a hard time about this, but I'm wanting to spend under $15k. This is a recreational vehicle, and it's bad economy right now. The newer the better.
I went through the old for sale items for like 20 pages and saw some decent deals, but figured I'd start my own fresh posts.
Keep in mind, it may be 2-4 weeks before I make my move. Like I said, I'm in no hurry.
